imagecfg.exe question

It's an application that sets the CPU affinity.

I think this means setting a specific application/process to run on a specific core of a multi-core CPU.

Yea. :)

To use the application right click on the Task bar and click Task Manager.

You can then right click on a process and set the affinity or set which core the process will run on.

imagecfg.exe is an execution file for the above function.

If I was using a few programs and wanted to spread the use of these programs across a Dual, Quad or Octo core set up i'd use this feature.

I think it can be useful in server systems.
