Default Im Going to build a time machine.

No,Seriously!

My Plan is to use a pc with these pcs:

-2.66Ghs P4
-512mb RAM
-160gb HDD

And Install about 20 Different OS's on it

Os's Planned to use:

DOS (Probably 6.1)
Windows 1.0 (Yes,I Have found it)
Windows 2.0 (Cant Find it? Any help?)
Windows 3.11(Got it)
Windows NT 3.5 (Cant Find it?)
Windows 95 (Got it)
Windows 98 (Got it)
Windows ME (Got it)
Windows 2000 (Got it)
Windows XP (Got it)
Windows Vista (Got it)
Windows 7 Beta (Or Whatever the release is,Got it)

Risc OS

OSX

And Some Linux Distro's all new and old.

So i have questions:

Will The OS's be ok with the Size of the hardrive and the fact it's SATA?
What Order do i have to install the OS's in?
Will the OS's be ok with the hardware in the PC?

Good luck finding drivers for the older operating systems.

Ram may be a problem if you plan to use vista\7. I dont know if you can install OSX on the same computer. Earlier OS's wont be able to see the SATA drive either, and i wouldnt attempt looking for drivers. You will likely need a serial keyboard to install some OS's aswell. if you do manage to get through those problems:

you will need several partitions as all of those OS's cant use NTFS or even FAT32.

Fat16 Partition:
DOS MUST be first. You will then go on to install windows 1\2\3\95 on that same partition. Tread lightly here, i dont think that the first windows came with a multi boot setup.
Fat32:
Windows NT(can also run on NTFS, but 32 is playing it safer), 98
NTFS:
2000, XP, Vista, 7.

After you install vista installing the linux distros should be easier as they use simmilar boot sectors (Microsoft used GRUB in vista)

This is great.

But I thought that some of the old OS's used the old FAT/FAT32 file system?

Or can you install the old OS's on an NTFS file system?

you've missed windows NT4 off of your list.

I don't think that drivers will be so much of an issue every windows OS has a default graphics driver, so you may just find that the resolution displayed is a bit rubbish.
