Well, im thinking about buying everything but the processor.

And just buy that later on or something, see how much better my computer is with just that stuff.

My mom right now is all like, ''why don't you just focus on school?". So ugh, I just cant win.

I gotta try and coax her into this...

lol thats exactly what my mom says, she doesnt understand the fact that i want to be a computer engineer, dad does, but mom... not so much, my excuse is "im making a career for myself" when i take hours on building a crappy little internet machine

Im making a career out of car audio or computer hardware. Which ever comes first and I decided to learn about in the near future..

What if I stepped it down for the E6400, instead of the E6600..?

Thats still a great processor. I have the E6300 and its fast, owns my P4 2.8ghz in my parents dell.
