just hope you don't get a fake, wow...

depending on the situation I guess it could be funny, but someone trying to meet a deadline for a client's computer probably would not be pleased...

That has already been taken care of by newegg. There shouldn't be any more, and they are working very hard to replace all the fakes.

That's funny. I would hate to have ordered an i7 and be impatiently waiting for days and have that show up.

Sure newegg has fixed the problem but how could that have happened in the first place..

This is hilarious.

Newegg is telling it's customers that they were "demo" boxes mistakenly shipped out to customers.

Then Intel announced that they were indeed counterfeits and not "demo" versions like Newegg is stating.
