if i get a second hard drive, do i have to reinstall windows

The title says it all but what ever, if i get a second hard drive, do i have to reinstall windows, because i was thinking of getting a back up internal hard drive, cause my computer is seriously low on disk space (only 10 GB left). Now I was also considering an external hard drive but i don't know if i can put games onto it, or if its just for back up

Question 2: Yes, you can put games on it. It's the same as an internal, just external.
