Default If anyone can help I'd be very appreciative

I have been having an issue with my computer for the last month or so. It runs fine and everything seems to be ok. only issue is i can not install anything w/o getting errors. In example FSX, Roxio Creator 2009, Crysis. Nothing at all. I was going to restore my computer to factory settings and see if that helped but it doesnt. I am so confused. i get errors like 1935. idk ask for my system specs if you need. them i dont wanna post all of them if its not neccessary. Help me!

Try updating your Windows Installer. You can get it here: Windows Installer 3.1 Redistributable

Have a read through this: Antivirus software may cause Event ID 2011

Also saw this:

To open Services, click Start, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Services. Choose "Server" and try stopping it and then re-starting it even if it shows it is running. If it works, it should work immediately. At least it did for me.
