Default Ieee 1394

I bought a digital camcorder Thursday evening(I ordered it online so it will be a few weeks until I receive it.) ,however I will need an IEEE 1394 "Firewire" OHCI compliant card , also I'll need to download my movie to my pc with a An IEEE 1394 "Firewire" cable. (4 pin to 6 pin). One final note my PC is running windows xp, has a 200GB harddrive, 256MB of Ram, and if I recall corectly I have a 900MHZ processor.

I found a card online, here is a link to its page, http://www.ncix.com/products/index....re=Bytecc%20Inc Do you think it will be suitable for what I need it for?

Please reply ASAP.

Yes, you need a firewire, um, I think any will do? I don't know, I got a digicam last Christmas, and an extra present was a firewire port. I think it's like USB only faster. So any will do.

Yeah that should do the trick, you could probably find one even cheaper, it doesn't need to be anything special...
