Default IE v FireFox

Hi all,

If I was to use Firefox would I still be able to have IE on my computer so I would have access to both and consequently be able to use both if I wanted to, or would there be some sort of conflict between the two.

yes, both can exist happliy.
yes firefox is a geniunly nicer browser to use
yes both have had security problems (IE's being somewhat more prominent)
No IE cannot be removed from a machine
No firefox cannot be used to go to windows update.

Microsoft wants you to think that you don't need anything but their software, and they don't want you using anybody else's.
