I have never seen any program that would tell what speed it is. if you know what kind it is, and if it has the serial numbers on it, you could go to the manufacturers website and see if they have a place where you can enter the numbers and it will tell all about it.

everest is a program that gives alot of information about your computer. That didn't make sense to me either for a while.

Well i have ni diea who the make of the drive is there are no stickers on it at all. Only thing i saw on it was "Warrenty voided if removed"
