Default Icon To C Drive Changed!

HI, the icon to my c drive has changed! does anyone know why?
the computer has just been re formated. it has no viruses on it.
i read a post saying it may have a root programe on it, could someone please explain.

Right-click on it. and go to Properties. There should be an option there somewhere to change the icon to something else.

no sorryn there ain't.
you only get that option if you set it as a desktop item.

Has someone been messing with your PC? Try doing a system restore first. If that doesn't help, create a restore point and try this. Look for AUTORUN.INF in the root level of your C: drive ie in C:\ and delete it. Exit explorer and press F5 to refresh. Go back into explorer and C: should be back to normal.

It may work or not. That's why I got the create system restore point in there.
