asus probe II, and got an error "getSMbios info failed", or something like that, is it because I have my system overclocked right now...?

would it work if I booted up with all the default settings...?

Try it, if it doesnt work, then no harm done, and it rules out the OC as the cause of your problem.

can anyone help...? also, on my new case, an aerocool extremengine 3T (thank you CompUSA), I can adjust the speed of the 3 fans that are hooked up to it's built in fan controller, but can't monitor them...

I was hoping that the asus probe II might be able to monitor the speeds, but I can't install it...

Not sure about Asus Probe, but I know that you'll only be able to monitor the speeds if they're hooked up to the motherboard. If it's a direct connection to the PSU, you can't monitor them.
