Default I need Help with keyboard/mouse problem.

Im not sure which it is,or if its either of them,but when i try go scroll down the page with the keyboard using the arrow keys it scrolls down each line insted of just scrolling the bar at the side.When i press the Page Up/Down button it doesnt go down a set amount it just goes straight to the bottom/top or doesnt move atall.Its been like this for a while and EXTREMELY anoying, any help would be great,Thanks.

Does your keyboard have a configurable driver that came with it? If so, run it and it should give you an option to set that up. If not, then as far as my knowledge goes, theres not much you can do from within windows. maybe try downloading some sort of utility, the manufacturer probably has one.

tab 1. keyboard
2. the model no. off your keyboard
3. Vista (32-bit im assuming)
4. english

you should be good to go from there.

What's the model # of the laptop?

EDIT: lol did you accidentally hit the scroll lock key? forgot to ask.

yes thats it, is your scroll lock on or off, I forgot to ask.

There doesnt seem to be a utility for that laptop so I'll see if I can find a generic one.
