Question I Need Good Quality Speakers.

Hello

Last night I had setup a 26” HD television in my brother’s room, and I want to give him a set of surround sound speakers.

I am looking for at least a 5.1 surround sound setup, something that can provide a good quality sound. My budget is kind of low, maybe about $150. I found some selections on newegg, but I am having trouble determining the quality. The speakers don’t particularly need to be loud, and base doesn’t really matter, it’s the sound quality that I need, and TV that I will be connecting them has all the modern connections. Can someone plz help me out?

Thanks.

you cant get computer speakers as they wont be close to loud enough IMO, and only having 150$ to spend isnt enough for a good system, but since they dont have to be that loud you could give these a try

but you will have to have a amp no matter what because you wont have anywhere to plug them into

I have a good amp, spend $220 on it. So I would habe to connect the speakers to them amp first, and then connect the amp to TV? Is that correct?

Logitech's are pretty good, for the price that's a good set. As for not being loud enough, LOL my Z-5500s literally shake the house.

As for an amp, you just plug those speakers into the wall.
