Default I need a bit of help (building)

I am thinking about building a new pc, and this question isn't for how to do it: there's ample guides, videos, etc that show me and I'll be sure to ensure that I know what I'm doing, that isn't the problem.

The problem is, two things

1)

Firstly, this is what I've selected (Newegg wishlist link https://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion...WishListTitle=)

My question is, simply, are there any compatibility issues? Anything I should be aware of? Anything to avoid? Anything missing? That sort of stuff.

Secondly, about Newegg's return policies, I am worried of getting the components

a) broken, and they don't refund
b) I screw up somehow, and I waste my money

Just any greater explanation about how they operate would be appreciated, as their main site did nothing but introduce a worry

Thank you.

It's still coming up as empty. Try posting a link (with description) of all the parts.

mmm looks tasty. Good choice with the NOD32.

If I were you though, I would get Vista over XP. Your system will run it with any issues.

That doesn't sound good :P

WITH any issues

lol, thanks though

But, no compatibility problems? Anything missing?

Also, where would I get a SATA cable? the hdd is OEM and the optical drive

Other than that, my last two questions are

1) Since the CPU [is now] OEM, and I ordered a seperate fan, that's fine right?

2) About the Newegg policies, if a piece arrives broken or if I screw up, am I screwed?

Lol without***

Usually at least one SATA and IDE cable come with the motherboard. so you should be fine there.

1) Yes, that's ok. Even if it's retail and came with a fan, it's generally recommended to get an aftermarket cooler for it.

2) Generally newegg is good about returns/exchanges as long as you didn't completly eff up. If the boxing is damaged in any way when you receive it, make sure you take pictures just as proof, include your account name/email address on a piece of paper in those pictures as proof.

Typically, if the order is Placed before 2PM (not sure what Timezone) it starts shipping that day. Average is probally four Business days (a little under a week), but could be longer or shorter depending on where you are, and what Warehouse the parts are being shipped from.
