i have got a problems with my thumbnail pictures.

I am wondering if anyone can help with a problem I have with my computer.

I have a folder on my computer with all my pictures in it. I have set it up that when you open the folder the folder containing with pictures you can see all the little thumbnails of the pictures.

Now my problem.
Now when I open up the folder containing all the pictures, I don't get thumbnails of the pictures, I get thumbnails of the type of file the picture is, JPEG, PNG etc

Can anyone help me???
