I ghosted my C drive...

still won't work, I have formatted the hard drive (not the quick format), twice, and ghosted it (yet again), booted off my xp disk, pressed "R" for recovery, entered 1 for C:\windows and thought I was home free, then it asked for an administrator password...? what...the...muck...? I entered every password I have ever set up on that drive, every setup password I've ever used, even windows folder passwords and none of them worked...

help...?
