I scaned my computer, and found a trojan horse in my computer, i think thats why i can't opne my task manager and the "msconfig" thing. Norton can't fix this... what can I do? If i reformat my HDD will that get rid of it?

Boot into safe mode (F8), and manually find the file, and delete it. Or run Norton in safe mode, and see if that workds.

Re: I found a trojan horse...what do i do?
Try downloading a2 squared trojan scanner from www.emsisoft.com You will have to register the product but it is free and you don't get any hassle apart from an update e-mail every few months.
Works on any operating system and is constantly updated. Should solve your problem.
Good luck!

Re: I found a trojan horse...what do i do?
Is it a scanner or does it also delete the virus?

Re: I found a trojan horse...what do i do?
o.O why didnt you just do that in the first place?
And a question, how come it wouldnt delete when you went manually in and tryed?
Like what massage did it come up with or did it just keep coming back?

Re: I found a trojan horse...what do i do?
I was talking about it...I reformated and then recovered.
When I tried to delete it it would say that the drive is full or being used or something like that.
I didn't really screw up my computer, it didn't let me go into my task manager and my msconfig.
