I dont really get this....

I think they're just comparing the difference between the CPU and GPU in terms of graphical performance.

i cant really make the connections between the Pictures of the CPU/GPU to the performance thing.

Basically, the graphics card processes the graphical data all at once. Lots of processes going on at once - hence parallel - running along side each other.

The CPU, however runs each process individually - so this adversely affects the visual experience.
