Red face I didn't know where to post this, sorry.

Hello, I'm sorry about how stupid of a question that this is but please bare with me. I'm also very sorry for maybe posting this in the wrong spot, but I just needed to find a computer forum to post this question at, so if you could answer it I would greatly appreciate it.

Ok, this is my problem:

When I go to Java.com and click on "Free Java Download" and then click on "Save File" and then I open up the Installer and then click "run" the installer comes up that says "Java Installer is being Downloaded, please wait" The bar that shows the status of the download does not move at all. I have waited for an hour and the download does nothing. The only thing that happens is my computer freezes up after about 5 minutes of the installer being up.

Bottom Line: I cannot download Java for some reason. Please help.
