Default i was burning DVDs in 40 mins now I do it in 2.5 hours

everything is the same software and hardware wise. help.

did you buy different speed dvd-+r's? Maybe somehow the speed of the drive got changed in the program you are using. What program are you using to burn dvd's?

have u deleted your old movies? most movies are about 4-5gb each and really slow down your computer. You might also want to defrag

if you havn't changed settings by accident, or gotten a slower dvd, i'm willing to bet your drive is starting to go bad. is it possable to swap out the drives to see if that fixes your problem?

If your using new media then update your drive firmware.
