i am having a problem with my linksys wireless card

it is sending out packets.. but not recieing.. but it says it is on 54 kb... it says when i open up the green signal square on the bottom right corner that it has alocated the access point but can not find internet.. or soemthing like that..any1 know what t hat meanas

No, but try this.
Start-run-type CMD-enter.
At the prompt type IPCONFIG /RELEASE-enter.
Type IPCONFIG /RENEW-enter.
It should now give you the ip number and connect.

i dont understand? i type ipconfig /renew then it again? it did nothing

ipconfig /release to releae ur IP
after this it will list gateway, subnet mask, and the ip should be 0.0.0.0 i think.
then ipconfig /renew to get another IP

If it takes a while let it sit. If it gives an error with DHCP tell us.
