Default Hybrid Crossfire

So I read that it is possible to hybrid crossfire the HD3400 series as long as you have the 780 chipset. I have 790GX and a HD3300. I am still kinda new to this crossfire thing, but I am trying to figure out if it will crossfire with my 4850x2 when I get it. Thanks.

Sorry, no it won't . You need an HD 3400 - HD 3600 card.

Even if it did work, would it help noticeably?

I can't imagine there would be any noticeable improvement running a lowly HD 3400 integrated chip in Crossfire mode with an HD 4850.
