HUGE Problem

Computer is acting up weirdly.

Today it has frozen up 3 times. It started like 3 hours ago.

It happens like every 20-30 min now. The screen freezes and the num lock no longer works

There is like this *click* coming from my computer.

IDK if its from my hdd or something else

this really sucks

Anybody know what's going on or how to find out?

edit: temps are fine for cpu, running cool at 28 - 40 c

ran chkdsk, not sure if it helps, but everything looks fine, found no problems.

ok....now my recycle bin is gone....odd

i was downloading some "stuff", wondering if it can have any effect?

hmmm...stopped uploading and it seems to run a little longer, i'll see if freezing stops

Would "stuff" involve p0rn? ...probably a virus in that case. But the ticking noise = very very bad. Could be the HDD.

Hmm. You could try running a HDD "tool" ...most manufacturers have them. WD is like data lifeguard or something...Seagate is just SeaTools I think.

yea, it was the uploading....idk what happened but apparently uploading stuff just freezes my comp

still, that tick is really weird, it only happens when I do something after the computer's bee inactive for like 5-10 min
