Default Huge change from XP to 7

I had installed new everything in my Computer, mobo, quad core CPU and Radeon HD5770 GPU and got about 200-300 FPS in CSS and 90 FPS in NBA2k10 while I still had XP. I installed Win7 and now get 50 fps in CSS and 30 FPS in NBA 2k10? Any ideas because it is a huge decrease in performance?

Ffffuuuuu.....

I just installed w7 and my game performance sucks too. Of course some of yours will be from the jump in directx versions (I stayed the same), but still, somehing is very not right here...

Lol well lets at least rule out the obvious for you. Did you install all device drivers off the CDs, then install catalyst 10.4 from amd.com?

I ran driversweeper first and then installed all drivers from the CD

is there any way to rollback to directx 9?

Go online and get the latest drivers. Odds are the out-dated drivers are to blame (particularly with the leaps-and-bounds ATI has made with their drivers)

Yeah, I'm on Win7 and I came from XP, and I see no decrease in performance at all O_o
