Default Ht?

HT stands for Hyper Threading Technology I know but what is the difference?

It allows for a single processor to appear to the operating system as two logical processors. The operating system doesn't know the difference and feeds threads to each as if they were indeed separate physical processors. Was that what you were referring to?
