well it is terrible backlight bleeding..and that monitor is VERY expensive..my gf got one of those..has the same problem..just crappy build quality i say..id actually go with a different brand, imo id go with a Viewsonic never had any problem with any of there 5ms response time monitors.

To be honest, it's probably because it's glossy. They tend to exaggerate small flaws.
