I have a similar graphics card in my computer and only get around 20fps aswell.

ok press the ~ button while playing and type these commands it should give you improvement, but itll take you a while

Okay i just did all those commands, took me a while but i did it. It helped a lot, but its still not running smooth. Could it just be a driver? I tried nvidia's but they dont let me install it. I need HP's drivers only?

our friend has a gforce2 mx440, and he plays cs with no problems,
how can a 6150 not work...

Well, just because a card is a newer generation doesn't necessarily mean its more powerful. It could have new bells and whistles, but still have crap performance. However, i know nothing of the 6150 so i don't know if it's stronger then the geforce 2.

Have you looked for an HP forum yet? I think if you type it into google, u can find one.

I did post on the HP forums but nobody seems to know anything else but to recommend that i do fps_max 100. Anyways like its better performance from before, thats for sure, but like the fps varies from map to map. Its playable on some maps, on some maps its not. Do i need to maybe overclock my cpu? Is that recommended on a Turion X2?
