Default HP pavilion v70s

Anyone know how to get into safe mode on a HP pavilion v70s? It's got XP. The issue that's trying to resolved is the fact that it reboot pretty quickly and quite often. Doesn't even stay up long enough to check any files, so I'm thinking some driver or something malicious might be causing it and I figure safe mode would allow some troubleshooting.

Start -> Run -> msconfig -> BOOT.INI -> Look for a thing that says TIMEOUT under the button "Move Down" change it to something like 10 and Apply it should work, don't mess with anything in there too....
