Hi everyone I have a couple quick question about my Hp pavilion dv9500 laptop that I need to repair. The motherboard is an amd and the socket says S1. I got it back from a computer repair shop and I know the mobo is bad and need to buy a replacement. My questions are
1) do I need to buy a dv9500 amd mobo with a different socket number or will the processor fit as long as its an amd board?
2)can I replace it with a dv9000 instead of dv9500 mobo and if no how come? If anyone knows what their differences are.
3) where can I find my motherboards model # since the stickers next to the ram slots have been removed.
If you have an answer for any of these please share.
Any help is appreciated , thanks!
