HP NC6000 HDD - Where to buy?

Hi all - nice quick one if I may.

Need a new HDD for a HP NC6000. Does it matter from one laptop to another, or brand to brand? I've built desktop PCs in the past many times but never bothered with laptop hardware.

I took a HDD out of my HP G60 but it didn't fit so I'm a bit baffled now. Google shopping results keep throwing out £100 HDDs and such; there must be a cheaper source than that!

Any recommendations please? There's a lot of dodgy laptop-spares sites around so your thoughts are welcomed.

Size is of no issue, anything over 10gb as it's one used purely for internet browsing and msn in front of the telly for my other half.

Just realised the stupidity of my mistake after reading the label on each - the one from the G60 is SATA, whereas the one from the NC6000 is just ATA...

Therefore I need an ATA! Explains why it wouldn't fit properly...
