HP Compaq 110c not working

Hello! I've been having some issues with my netbook, for a few months now. When I start it, the screen remains black. I can hear the vent, no weird noises. But it does not boot, everything is black. Now, if I restart it multiple times (it's usually very random), it boots and if I'm really lucky it works like it has no problems. And this is what I find weird. It's not dead, I mean the thing actually works, but sometimes I spend over an hour to make it open and boot normaly, which is a pain. What could be wrong?

You should run a memory test app like Memtest86 and maybe a HDD diagnostic app if the memory test comes up clean.
