I am experiencing difficulty using my printer.
I connected my hp color laserjet 5500hdn to my router with an ethernet cable. On my computer that is connected to the router, I tried everything to get the printer to start working. I read many guides and did these:
1- Pressed add a printer then pressed local printer, then tried using tcp/ip as a port, it asked me for the ip address, I put the ip address of the printer, then it says like, the device cant be identified.
I dont know what else to do, I am not even sure of what I really am doing but yeah. I been trying to figure something out myself for over 10 hours. I am all out of ideas, I need all the help I can get.
