Default How's this sound?

I'm gunna build a PC in the next week or 2 and thought I'd run the plan by you all:

Case: http://www.officemax.com/catalog/sku...=19-36132050-2

MoBo: http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?p=MB-...abd43dfbbfdb2b

CPU: http://www.directron.com/bx80605i5750.html

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820211409 (Which is just initial...I'm going to drop 6GB: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145222 in or maybe even 8GB in asap but the 4GB will due in the meantime for the sake of budget.)

HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148433

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ory-_-17139004

And a whatever CD drive.

This should total ~$740 or something like that and will get me up and running. I plan on sticking in this stuff over time as well:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130395

A Cooler Master Hyper 212+ cooling unit

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16815116015

Doin it in pieces like this for the sake of my budget. Everything look like it'll play nice together? Anyone have any ideas to get some more bang for my buck? Should I go i7 or is it not really worth the money over the i5? (I play some games and run music recording software.)

Open to suggestions and feedback!!

--Brent

The 9500 GT is a crap card and just won't cut it for games.

You need a card past or (my card) in my signature.

8800 GT or newer, huh? I really just play WoW and run Reaper (music recording software) but I REAAAAAAAAAAALLY wanna play ARMA II...so a good card is a must. I'll check it out.

Go for a HD 4850/4870/5770.All of those outperform a 8800 GT.A powercolor 4850 is retailing for about 100 dollars at Newegg, and a new 8800 GT also has the same price.Same price, but the 4850 has more performance.Quite a no-brainer huh?

You really want to get a HD 5xxx if you are going ATI. The 5750 is pretty good for the money, and it overclocks like crazy.

5670 is also very good. Won't outperform a 4850, but it has DX11/EF support.

I would suggest this...

Case: Newegg, same price, but with $9.99 shipping and 4 total fans (120mm rear fan, 140mm blue LED fan for the top blowhole and two 120mm blue LED fans for the front intake, I think Office Max only has the rear 120mm and 140mm top blowhole fans included, neither of which are blue LED fans)

CPU: Newegg, same price, but free shipping

You could also go Phenom II over the i5 to save some bucks. you won't really notice any major performance difference.

EDIT: found the link. http://cgi.ebay.com/MSI-NX8800GTS-T2...item519095ce20

Okay, let's clear some things up:-

That 8800 GTS is a 320 MB version, meaning that it is not the newer 512 MB 8800 GTS ( which is a good card ).Instead, this 320 MB pile of shit is based on the old G80 architecture and a lowly card it is.

In case it wasn't clear, don't buy it.

Finally, the 5750 is too near to the 5770's price.About the 5670, I don't get why you'd use DX11 with a budget card ...it's one of those terms like Married Bachelor that don't make any sense.Plus, how many DX11 titles are there, anyway?
