im only gonna be using the pc for web browsing and downloading music..the biggest ram hog that'll probably run on the pc is limewire... + i can always double the ram next month...

next month i plan to buy a decent soundcard and more ram...then after that a video card...and so forth and so on..

ok so..what which ram do u recommend that will stay in the budget?
do i need to purchase any wires? (i hope not lol)

Hmm. . . I like your last list, but I have two suggestions that will keep you in budget.
For the power supply, I would suggest getting a SILVERSTONE ST400 ATX 12V 2.2 400W. It's extremely reliable. Then you can get the G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 that was suggested earlier. It great memory as I have that same kit and it's rock steady.
Most all wire or cables you'll need should come with the motherboard.
