Default how to use Dell computer monitor as TV?

i dont know if this post is in the right place but...

is there anyway i can use my Dell computer monitor as a TV screen

note: i would only be using it to play my xbox, not for any cable provider or any other provider

the dell monitor only has a VGA plug in and i found "VGA to RCA" cables but i couldn't find any other adapters or anyway to connect any speakers or sound to the monitor

is there any adaptors to help with this where i can get both sound and picture from my xbox to this monitor? please help?

There should be audio jacks that convert from the XBox output into a 1/8th jack pretty easily. Things like this: Amazon.com: Monster MCL MSTMINI 2FR Stereo Female RCA to 1/8 Stereo Cable Adapter: Electronics (I'm not endorsing Monster, their products are too expensive, it's just a point of reference. You can find much cheaper)

If you want to search for your own audio adapters, the term you want is "RCA to 1.8"
