Supported CPU
CPU Socket Type Dual LGA 1366
CPU Type Dual Intel Xeon 5500 Series
QPI Up to 4.8/ 5.86/ 6.4GT/s
It's pretty straightforward. While the socket is the same, the chipset will only support Xeon 5500 series processors.
