Default How to stream video through Xbox 360

Ok I heard that it is possible to stream videos from a computer to my xbox 360 wirelessly. Here is my situation: My computer is in a different room then my tv and 360. I want to play the movies that are on my computer on my tv. I used to just use a DVI to HDMI cable, but this is no longer possible since they are now in seperate rooms. So is there a way to stream the movies on my computer to my TV wirelessly without buying an expensive piece of hardware.
