Default how to setup DI-604 D-Link router properly

hi i would like to receive some help on how to properly setup the DI-604 D-Link router. Since i do not know much about computer, i just followed the manual and simply ran the setup wizard. It was fairly simple so i believe i did not setup the router properly.

does anyone else have this router and knows how to setup the router for maximum protection?

thanks

According to the dlink website, this is a wired router. You dont need to worry about protection since everything is wired. However, if you play internet games, you have to unblock ports in the router.

yeah, just turn on the firewall and that should be all the protection you will need.
