Question how this sett up and wut should i do with new ram

AMD Athlon 3000+
ASUS A7N8X
512 mb corsair XMS
ATI Radeon 8500
Western Digital Raptor 34 gb (by the way a pain in the ass to get windows on)
ULTRA red dragon case

i wanna get another stick of ram but i dont know wut slot to put it in ( i know a dumb question lol...but w/e)

You'll at least have another DIMM slot.

Just buy the same RAM you've bought previously, and stick it in to a slot next to the one you have got. if though, they look colour coded (Dual Channel reasons) then place the first stick on the first colour, and the second stick in another slot with a different colour to that one.

There is no right and wrong way of putting RAM chips in though

But unless u are really stupid, u will put it the right way. And I seriously doubt that anyone who can use the internet is that stupid. Just stay away from hammers and stuff...

So u should be fine, just make sure that the new ram is the same speed as the one u already have. If they are different speeds the faster one is going to clock down to the speed of the slower one. And make sure it's compatible with the mobo.

Yes, just make sure to apply even pressure to both ends of the memory stick when inserting into the memory slot on the motherboard.
