How to Run an app. through Dos???

I have been trying to run this

In dos and i need to know what to type to get it to run

just type in the filepath and filename make sure to put the .exe at the end

I did that but

Do the following commands:

cd\
cd FAU
cd FAU.x86
dd.exe

(If same error occurs, use call dd.exe instead)

would i b right in syaing you are running vista 64 bit ?

it looks like that program is for 32 bit and might not work on 64 bit

Ahh....dos...I remember the good old days (and yes, I am old enough to remember dos). Technically dos doesn't exist anymore, it's just really a command prompt. Try right clicking on that file and see what options come up, you might be able to run it in compatibility mode.

its command prompt. simular yes, but dos is an operating system and this is not

Are you sure it's an exe file? Run dir to find out what the extension really is.

It is an .exe file and i'm running vista 32bit

BUT I FOUND THE PROBLEM The file was corrupted
