Default How to remove this option?

I recently got dreamweaver 8 so i uninstalled my previous installation of dreamweaver mx. I now still find that when i right click on any html/php/css file it still gives me the option to edit in dreamweaver mx as well as dreamweaver 8. How do I remove this mx option?

Cheers guys

I don't know exactly what to look for here, but it looks to me like MX left some registry keys behind which are now obsolete.

Hope that helps.

try using a nifty free utility called EasyCleaner by ToniArts. There's an option to scan the registry for obsolete entries. It's safe and easy to do. It automatically backs up the registry also before you click the button.

Perhaps you should install dreamweaver mx again. If you can find an option labelled something like "integrate into Windows context menu" then disable it. Then uninstall mx and re-install your new one.
