havn't had a chance to do that yet, just had a shock when looking at everest home and pc wizard 2007:

my other temps are fine/normal but my gpu temp has disappeared fron everest and has shot from around 60 degrees C to 250 degrees C (pc wizard)

this can't be right can it? does it have to be a mistake in the software?

i restart and its displayed in everest again but then disappears again, i look in pc wizard and gpu is 250 again, all other temps are fine.

whats going on?

thanks for ultimate boot cd, it's good

used memtest86+ and windows memory test. ran about 3 passes on both: no errors.

does anybody know which are the best hard drive diagnosis tools, i tried a few but they didn't work for my hard drive. are any of them a good test and work well for all manufacturers? cheers.

haven't had the ridiculous temperature since that day, haven't used pc wizard since

under tools it should say system stablity test and just click start and watch your temps rise(this is normal) if you get a BSOD, more than likely your ram is bad, a restart might mean your temps went too high.
