I'm not sure wheather to put this in the social or not, since its regarding computers. IT still is technically a social bidding.

I have 1GB of RAM, and usually have around half of that free unless I run a 3D Studio max which eats over 500MB straight away when i hit render

I usually have about 40-50% free when I'm just using MSN, browsing the web, etc. Vista eats up my RAM.
