Well it all depends on what you want to do with the computer..If your a gamer the price will be totally different to if it's for home use, also there are just too many options for us to name a price, it is much easier if you name a budget and we can see what we can do for you

yeah exactly , in gbp you could build a basic computer for 200 , if i was building i would add about 30-50 on to that , but a high spec gaming pc would cost as much as 800 , and i would add about 50-80 on to that to build

It's for a friend, I don't really want any money from him, but I'm a bit worried if something goes wrong, what kind of warranty I'll give to him... I built the rig in my sig and everything went smooth, didn't have to RMA or anything.

It would be something along these lines:

Conroe E6400
GIGABYTE GA-965G-DS3
Patriot 2GB DDR2 800
Geforce 7950GT 512MB
Seagate 250GB
LG 18x DVD Burner
OCZ GameXStream 600W
Thermaltake Soprano DX

usually it is reasonable to charge 10% of the vaalue of the computer , so if it costs $800 for parts add $80 to build thats how i would do , it or if it for a friend i would not charge
