How Important?

I just got a Radeon 9200 video card, but it doesn't have a fan. It has a little.. black thing with springs on the sides above the video card CPU. Can I still use the video card without it burning up? I also have a socket 370 heatsink that I could put on top of the video card if that would help at all.

no, if that's the heatsink on your cpu right now do not add it. and don't worry, when cards don't have fans it means they're lower end and do not need the cooling, you don't need to worry about your 9200 melting.
