Default how to identify memory?

ok, i have a post in the social forum linked to this one.
i have had some ram delivered and its the wrong ram!
i needed laptop ram, i got p.c ram.
it is single sided with eight chips on it. on each chip it says "matrix 8ma4x-6".
i googled it with no readable results. some in foreign language but i could not translate it.
i had ordered 128 sodim for a laptop.

Default Re: how to identify memory?

Is that all the information that is printed on the chip? There must be another manufacturer code printed somewhere cause that doesn't bring up anything.
