You can easily overclock that CPU. Most people have to/around 3.6Ghz with decent temps on air cooling. I would say 3.0Ghz is very easy to get to and doesn't require much knowledge in overclocking. 3.6 is just overkill unless you're doing a hell of a lot of editing or benchmarking.
I would recommend 3.0ghz only because its more stable, and easily cooled with stock HSF. A buddy of mine has the same one OC at 3.0 and has no problems running the latest games on very high settings!!
