How Do i trust this? (CPU HSF)

I suppose the smart thing to do would have been to pull the mb, but I just didn't feel like it. Once I got the psu out it wan't too bad. Only thing was when I flipped that lever over to lock it down, it snapped like a mouse trap and it got my attention! Glad my finger wasn't under that lever!
