Question How do I make a McAfee install cd?

I have McAfee Antivirus software installed on my computer, and keep it up to date. How can I create a CD with the entire up-to-date McAfee antivirus program on it, so that if I do a re-install of windows, I can then install my McAfee antivirus back onto my computer before I go online? I don't really want to go online unprotected, and then have to go to the McAfee site and download it.

Default Re: How do I make a McAfee install cd?

i know a lot of times when i download a program, i first download an installation file onto my desktop, then open that to install the program. however, with McAfee, it just began the install when i downloaded the program. because of this, i don't think just copying the program files to a CD will allow me to put it back on a fresh windows install. i may be able to copy the program files from the CD back to the computer, but will this install the program, or just have the files sitting on the computer?
