How do I delete Registry from my computer

I had a software installed on my computer and then I deleted it but the registry is still on my computer can someone please tell me how do I deleted it off my computer. Thanks

You can use CCleaner to get some of the stuff out of the registry. It's not guaranteed to get everything out, the only way to do that is manually get into the registry (only if you know what you are doing). CCleaner does a pretty good job though.

Start>Run>regedit then go to view or something and go find and just search for a word. Or if you are running Vista just put Regedit in the search bar.

i would let a cleaner just go threw it because if you do it manually you have the risk of messing with other registries which is a big bad. do what Wolf said if a cleaner doesn't work.

I don't mean to just repeat everything everyone else has stated, but with the severity of messing with regedit, I'd also recommend CCleaner, I use it...and love it.
